The B.C years seem like a dream...

Crunch time NOW on years 4 NEAR 5,

Up to date, more than 4000 that once lived, now have died!

Taken their lives in this Economic free fall,

Statistics hidden, at the bottom of the drawer!

While the living~dead,left in the grind,

Working for a living, racing against time!

Money owed, not paid NEVER seen!

Money demanded, sights GLARE and beam!

Austerity let loose, like a mad,mad dog squeezing like a vice!

Lives changed, CASH demanded at the toss of the DICE!

Nameless faces confronted at a price!

Things now don’t seem to be just right!

The B.C years seem just like a dream!

When all seemed on board and the future could some what be seen!

The nightmare of the ‘scams and political fraud’ we now live and see,

As we wake to living life with Creed not Greed!

The roads are full of faces rushing around,

As I cycle past them, they look and smile!

We talk n reach a conclusion of the day,

“We must build ourselves, with education in every way!” they say.

We must hold a torch for the young to see,

There is hope through eco economics, for us our future to redeem!

Institutions of politics, economics alike,

Should bear a warning and humanely heed our plight!
